| Baked Hake and Mushrooms |
1 lb, Hake fillets
2 Green onions; sliced
1 Tomato; chopped
2 tbs. Lemon juice
1/2 cup Fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 tsp. Salt |
Put hake in baking dish. Add onions, tomato, and
lemon juice on the fish. Place mushrooms on top of other ingredients. Sprinkle with
salt. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes until
fish flakes and is done. |
| Baked Hake with Herbs |
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. crushed Saltine crackers
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 lb. hake fillets (can substitute sole or haddock) |
| In 13 x 9 inch pan, melt butter at 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Meanwhile, combine crackers, cheese, basil, oregano, salt, and garlic powder. Dip fish in butter then in crumbs. Arrange fish in baking pan. Bake in center of oven at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until tender. Serve immediately. |
